A sophisticated, yet balanced bouquet of flavors, Mayenda Reposado explores the full complexity of agave, whilst retaining the familiar soul of our beloved Mayenda Blanco.
A tequila crafted with the utmost care, from agave harvesting to barrel selection. Slowly aged in two different oak casks before being artfully blended by our Maestro Tequilero Jesús Susunaga.
The Taste
A CONTRAST OF CASKS
By combining the opposing characteristics of European and American Oak casks, we awaken a uniquely balanced blend of flavors. A play of opposites which enlivens Mayenda’s innate complexity.
Where European Oak emboldens with the earthy power of black pepper and cinnamon, American Oak adds a smooth softness – imparting notes of subtle vanilla, toast and dark honey.
Craft
AGED FOR 6 MONTHS
Aged for a minimum of six months, Reposado is kept in oak casks for four months longer than required to enable the greatest taste refinement.
This longer aging process imparts the natural tannins, vanilla and golden colour from the Oak. Melding with the slowly maturing tequila liquid to evolve its multi-layered character with unique complexity.
Care
MASTERFULLY BLENDED
Blending is a delicate art. One that our Maestro Tequilero Jesús Susunaga has mastered, having blended some of the finest aged spirits from around the globe.
And if every barrel tells its own story, it takes the mastery of Jesús to bring it to life. Observing the nuances that occur naturally during aging to refine every drop, whilst keeping Blanco’s essence in every sip.

Light, bright golden color with full, creamy longer body
Wildflower honey, caramelized agave, vanilla, allspice, dry orange peel
A complex blend of vanilla, butterscotch and honey from the American oak barrels with cinnamon, red apple, and chamomile contribution from the European barrels.
Fresh cracked black pepper, mineral and earthy with a slight warming with a caramelized agave.
